On the occasion of World Environment Day, from June 1st to June 5th, the CCL family successfully organized various programs for environmental awareness. On June 1st, 2024, Mr. Satish Jha,Director Technical (Planning & Project) inaugurated and commenced various competitions, in which nearly 200 children participated. Painting, quiz, slogan, essay writing, and poetry recitation competitions were organized. 

On June 3rd, 2024, a quiz competition was organized for the employees. On June 4th, 2024, distribution of cloth bags and fruit-bearing tree saplings was done.

On June 5th, the hoisting of the flag and oath-taking ceremony was conducted under the chairmanship of Mr. Nilendu Kumar Singh ,Chairman-cum-Managing Director.

On June 5th, in the program organized at CCL Headquarters, Darbhanga House, Ranchi, Mr. Nilendu Kumar Singh ,Chairman-cum-Managing Director of CCL, Mr. Harsh Nath Mishra, Director (Personnel), Mr. Pawan Kumar Mishra,Director (Finance), Mr. Satish Jha ,Director Technical (Planning & Project), Mr. Pankaj Kumar ,CVO along with various departmental heads, and a large number of CCL employees were present. At the beginning of the program, CMD, directors and CVO unfurled the environmental flag. On this occasion, employees took an oath for environmental protection.  CMD, directors and CVO planted trees and gave a message of environmental conservation to everyone.

Under the Environmental Day celebrations, winners of various competitions were felicitated and motivated for environmental protection. It is noted that a large number of plants and cloth bags were distributed in command areas.

Celebration of World Environment Day organized by Arpita Women's Association in Jawahar Nagar, CCL

On June 5, 2024, World Environment Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the Arpita Women's Association in Jawahar Nagar, CCL. On this occasion, the President of CCL's Arpita Women's Association and the wife of CCL's CMD, Mrs. Priti Singh, along with other members of the association, distributed cloth bags, food items, and fruit-bearing saplings in Jawahar Nagar Eco Park.Following this, Mrs. Priti Singh, along with other members of the association, planted trees and conveyed the message of environmental conservation to everyone present. Mrs. Indu Mishra, Mrs. Shashi Duhan, and Mrs. Kiran Jha were also present at the event.
